This is a nice 3d rendition of the Sphinx, and really gives you a good sense of how out of proportion the head is relative to the body. When you see it in person you’re also struck by how much more detailed the head is than the body, which is very heavily weathered in places. One of my favorite things about our Spirit Quest Tours trips to Egypt are our private visits into the Sphinx enclosure to stand between the paws and meditate.
